Lead Inspector Initial
This 24 hour course is for anyone who has to perform lead based paint inspections, or clear jobs using wipe test. We go over current clearance levels, along with what instrumentation may be used to conduct sampling. The course also touches on the history of lead, health effects, and PPE. The hands on activity include taking a trip to a home with LBP and conducting an inspection. After that each student must pass a 50 point exam to receive their certification from GST.
Lead Inspector Refresher
This 8 hour course is designed for individuals who have already been certified in the Inspector Initial couse. We cover some of the main aspects from the 24 hour course such as PPE, sampling methods, and updates to clearance levels, etc. This course is mandatory every 3 years!
